Iran series start shooting

The production of Fereydoun Jeyrani's new series 'Blue Whale' has kicked off.

Having completed the main cast list, the series has started shooting scenes in Tehran.

Produced by Saeed Malekan, 'Blue Whale' is to be released for the Iranian domestic entertainment market.

This is Leila Hatami and Saed Soheili's first experience for home market. Both stars appeared before the camera for the series on the first days of shooting.

Other than Hatami and Soheili, many big names such as Hossein Yari, Farhad Aslani, Parivash Nazariyeh, Elham Korda, Majid Mozaffari, Hamidreza Azarang, Vishka Asayesh, Setareh Pesyani, Azadeh Samadi and Mahour Alvand are to star in the series.

Jeyrani's new series was firstly titled 'Telegram' which is now changed into 'Blue Whale'.
